Youth Summer Employment Support

The City of Kitchener offers up to $300 annually to low-income youth aged 15–30 to cover costs that prevent them from applying for or being eligible for summer jobs with the city, such as uniforms, certifications, criminal reference checks, and drivers abstracts. Applicants must be Kitchener residents and demonstrate financial need; funding is provided as reimbursement upon proof of purchase after accepting a City position.
