The Existing Building Commissioning (EBCx) program provides financial incentives and technical support to owners, operators, and managers of commercial and institutional buildings in Ontario to optimize energy management and reduce energy waste. Eligible buildings must have consumed at least 750,000 kWh annually and implement operational improvements such as equipment optimization, scheduling adjustments, and maintenance changes.
What you'll need
- 12 months of consecutive energy consumption data
- Building baseline energy model meeting minimum standards
- Proof of building ownership, operation, or management
- Project plan detailing commissioning measures to be implemented
- Measurement and Verification documentation
