Regional Support for Veterinary Services for Food Animals

This British Columbia program provides grants to veterinary practices to expand food animal services in underserved regions. Funding supports licensing, accreditation, service delivery enhancement, and recruitment and retention activities for practices serving food-producing animals in Priority 1 geographic regions.

- Number of full-time equivalent veterinarians and registered veterinary technologists
- Documentation of herd or flock level veterinary-client-patient relationships
- Types of animals serviced and proportion of cases
- Three or more support letters from local government, producer groups, or individual producers
- Standard demographic information of practice owners
