The City of Victoria provides financial support for major community initiatives and events that align with the city's strategic plan and are not eligible for other city funding programs. The program funds up to 50% of total project expenses, up to a maximum of $250,000 per request, and supports major community celebrations, destination events, event sponsorships, and community initiatives.
What you'll need
- Not-for-profit society or charitable organization registration certificate
- Board-signed financial statements for most recent fiscal year
- Project budget with detailed cash expenditures and revenue streams
- Proof of five years of prior operation (if applicable)
- Demonstration of significant economic or cultural impact
