Youth in Natural Resources (YNR)

A wage subsidy program that supports employers in hiring and training youth aged 15–30 in natural resource sectors including energy, forestry, mining, minerals & metals, and earth sciences. Eligible employers receive reimbursement of 75% of a new employee's salary up to $23,800, with training and upskilling costs included, for placements lasting 3–12 months.
