Voluntary-Based Arts Organizations Operating Funding

This grant provides annual operating funding to arts-based organizations in Alberta that foster community connections and primarily rely on volunteers to carry out their mission. Eligible organizations must have public programming in film, video, literary, visual arts, or performing arts as their primary purpose and be legally registered in Alberta for at least one full fiscal year.

- Support cultural protocols and honoraria for Elders and Knowledge Keepers
- Fund production and programming of artistic works
- Cover marketing, communications, and promotion costs
- Pay salaries and professional fees for minimal staff
- Cover rent, utilities, insurance, and facility operations
