A rebate program for homeowners, contractors, and landlords in Newfoundland and Labrador that reimburses 75% of the cost of attic and basement insulation (up to $1,000 each) plus up to $500 in labour costs per area, for a maximum total rebate of $3,000. Eligible applicants must have an electrically-heated home built before January 1, 2014, with an active electricity account.
What you'll need
- Proof of active electricity account
- Purchase receipt detailing insulation brand, R-Value, quantity, and square footage
- Proof of home ownership or landlord status
- Proof that home was built and connected to electricity system before January 1, 2014
- Proof of professional installation (if claiming labour rebate)
