The Southwestern Ontario Development Fund provides financial support to existing businesses, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations for economic development projects in southwestern Ontario. Businesses can receive grants or interest-free loans to fund investments that grow their business, improve productivity, invest in innovation, and create new jobs. Community economic development projects can also receive grants for infrastructure and regional economic development initiatives.

- Most recent 3 years of financial statements
- Project budget and detailed project plan
- Evidence of private sector support (for community projects)
- Proof of minimum investment commitment
