Rural Ontario Development Program

The Rural Ontario Development Program provides cost-share funding to help rural communities address economic development barriers, attract and retain businesses and investment, strengthen partnerships, and develop workforce capacity. Eligible applicants include municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, Indigenous communities, local services boards, and small businesses with 1–20 employees in eligible rural areas of Ontario.
