Recognition Program for First Nations Artists and Organizations

A Quebec-based grant program supporting First Nations and Inuit artists and arts organizations in reappropriating, reconstructing, and developing their artistic practices. Funding covers artist remuneration, materials, equipment rentals, travel, and promotion expenses for traditional, customary, and contemporary art forms. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and evaluated by committees of First Nations artists, Elders, and cultural professionals.
