Proof of Concept Program
The Proof of Concept Program supports Canadian SMEs, start-ups, and academic research institutes in establishing the commercial feasibility of innovative natural products or technologies (Technology Readiness Levels 4-9). Applicants can receive up to 40% of project costs to a maximum of $350,000 over an 18-month period, with the applicant contributing 60%. The program funds activities that demonstrate commercial potential through animal, field, demonstration, or human trials.
