Ontario Job Creation Partnerships provides funding to eligible employers (not-for-profits, municipalities, Indigenous organizations, public institutions, and businesses) to create work experience projects for unemployed Ontarians. Participants gain meaningful work experience, develop employable skills, and increase chances of finding long-term employment. Participants are paid through either Employment Insurance benefits or financial assistance from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
