Northern Isolated Community Initiatives (NICI) Fund

The NICI Fund provides nearly $15 million over three years to support food and agriculture businesses and organizations in Canada's northern regions, including the territories and Inuit Nunangat. Funding supports new and existing food initiatives aimed at strengthening local food production, improving food security, and diversifying economic activity in northern and Indigenous communities through three streams: business support, food systems strengthening, and food innovation.
