Insulation Rebate Program
RebateNewfoundland and LabradorUp to $3,000
A rebate program offered by Newfoundland and Labrador's utility that reimburses homeowners, contractors, and landlords for 75% of the cost of attic and basement insulation upgrades, up to $1,000 per area plus $500 for labour, for a maximum total of $3,000. Eligible homes must be electrically heated, built before January 1, 2014, and located in Newfoundland and Labrador with an active electricity account.
What you'll need
- Proof of electricity account ownership
- Purchase receipt detailing insulation type, brand, R-Value, and square footage
- Proof of home construction date (property deed or utility records)
- Proof of professional installation (if claiming labour rebate)
- Completed application form
