Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Value Chain Program (EVMP)

NGen will invest up to $35 million in collaborative, business-led advanced manufacturing R&D projects across the electric vehicle value chain, from critical mineral processing to battery pack assembly and vehicle manufacturing. The program supports innovative manufacturing technologies and processes that strengthen Canadian capability and content in zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) production.

- Implement circular economy and closed-loop manufacturing capabilities
