Early Childhood Educator Wage Subsidy Program

This program provides a $3 per hour wage subsidy to licensed child care facilities in the Columbia Basin Trust region to enhance the wages of eligible Early Childhood Educators. The subsidy is paid to employers who employ certified ECEs and are already receiving at least $4 per hour in wage subsidies from other sources.
What you'll need
- Valid Early Childhood Educator, Infant and Toddler Educator, or Special Needs Educator certificate from BC ECE Registry
- Proof of residency in Columbia Basin Trust region
- Proof of employment or self-employment with eligible licensed child care facility
- Employer business registration and WorkSafeBC account documentation
- Proof of existing wage subsidy of at least $4 per hour from another source
