The Arctic Energy Alliance provides funding and services to help community and Indigenous governments in the Northwest Territories develop and implement community energy plans. The program funds up to $30,000 to hire a local Community Energy Champion, covers AEA staff time and community visits, and supports the planning process to reduce energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
