CanExport Innovation provides grants to Canadian organizations to fund research and development (R&D) for new technologies, covering up to 75% of costs to pursue and sign collaborative R&D agreements with international partners. The program supports activities such as intellectual property protection, international certification, expert advice, technology feasibility testing, and travel to meet with foreign partners. Eligible applicants include Canadian SMEs, academic institutions, and non-government research centres with a prototype at Technology Readiness Level 4 or higher.
