CanExport Associations provides funding to Canadian national industry associations and trade organizations to support international business development activities aimed at increasing commercial exports. The program offers up to $500,000 per year as a reimbursement cost-sharing program, covering up to 50% of eligible costs (or 75% for defence and security projects), with a minimum request of $20,000.
What you'll need
- Articles of incorporation confirming Canadian not-for-profit status
- 2 years of financial statements of the applicant organization
- Project proposal detailing international business development activities
- Evidence of private revenues to cover applicant's cost-sharing portion
- Proof of managerial and marketing capabilities
