Bitumen Advanced Materials (BAM) Program

The BAM program provides funding to develop technologies that convert oil sands components into high-value non-combustion products such as carbon fibre, asphalt binder, activated carbon, and other advanced materials. Eligible applicants include technology developers, industry partners, SMEs, research organizations, post-secondary institutions, and not-for-profit organizations working at Technology Readiness Levels 3-7.
