AgriScience Program – Projects Component

The AgriScience Program provides non-repayable funding for pre-commercial applied science and research and development activities in the Canadian agriculture and agri-food sector. Under the Projects Component, eligible organizations can receive up to $5 million per project to address priority areas including climate change, economic growth, and sector resilience. Applicants must contribute a minimum of 50% of project costs, with AAFC covering up to 50%.
